안녕하세요  

 

저는 집의 인터넷을 가입하고 싶은데요 

그런데 제가 외국인이며 2001년생이에요 

그래서 인터넷을 가입할 수 있나요? 

 

답장할 때 영어로 쓰면 좋겠어요

    Obviously, international people can open
    high-speed Internet using
    certificate of alien registration.

    Unfortunately, however,
    minors cannot open internet.

    The regulation that
    "one cannot open Internet using the name of minor"
    is applied to everyone,
    regardless of whether you are a local resident or foreigner.


    The local residents (with Korean nationality) can
    open Internet through a legal representative,
    but it may be hard for foreigners to follow this procedure.


    P.S: We, 100mb.kr, do not support
    telephone counseling in English (CS),
    so please ask us through the board if you have any questions :)

    Does this mean that even though a minor has an alien registration certificate,
    I cannot sign up for internet subscription?
    I will need to use a wifi line during my stay in Korea. If I cannot subscribe
    for internet access, would it be better to have my Korean friend sign it up for me?
    I am currently living with my friend and plan to live together for a year.
    Afterwards, I plan to live by myself. Thus, does this mean that once my Korean
    friend leaves my house after our stay together, will our  subscription for
    internet use be cancelled?

    @KimmyThat is not true :)
    There isn’t a regulation that
    the contractor must live at the location
    he or she subscribed for.

    However,
    I have a feeling that your friend is also a minor.

    If my prediction is true,
    I’m afraid your friend can also not sign up
    for internet access :(

    I have two questions for you.

    1) Is your friend also a minor?
    2) If he or she is not a minor,
    will your friend agree to use his/her name to sign up for internet access?

    Fortunately, my friend is an adult. (21 years old)
    I have another question. Is the stipulated period to use the internet a total of 3 years in Korea?
    If this is true, I can then take care of the internet bill for my friend for a total of 3 years
    if we use my friend’s name to sign up for the internet?
    My friend has agreed to our plan. What are the next steps?

    Since your friend will be the contractor,
    I will need to speak with him/her on the phone.
    (I’m sure your friend can speak in Korean, correct?)

    Please leave a reply of your friend’s mobile number.

    Once on the phone,
    I will let him/her know about all the details
    and procedures in subscribing :)
