I don't speak well Korean... However, if you answer in simple sentence, I can understand!! :)

I want to subscribe to 100mbps internet. I currently have Olleh KT 100mbps, but my contract is finishing this month.

If I subscribe here, will it automatically cancel my previous internet? If not, how should I do?

You guys seem to offer much better pricing than what foreigners usually pay...

Thank you!!

    Hello, Mr. Merton :)
I am Soo Bin Lee at 100mb.kr
Thank you very much for leaving your message at us!

For all internet services in Korea provided by SK, LG and KT,
a new subscription to a new service does not automatically
cancel previous service of other companies.

Change of Internet service has different concept from that of
MNP (Mobile Number Portability) of mobile phones.

That is, "previous internet service" is not related with "new internet service".
Thus, when you need to subscribe to a new service provided by other company
than the one you are currently using, you have to cancel previous one by yourself.

But the problem is that we (www.100mb.kr) do not currently
provide consultation and subscription services for foreigners.

The reason is that in order to enter into a contract,
we have to prove the contract by recording the voice of agreement
but we do not support consultation for foreigners yet.

    We apologize for inconvenience.
Thank you for your interest in our service again!

P.S.: Please be kindly informed that our company
(www.100mb.kr) plans to provide foreigner service from the end of 2019.
We are sorry that we cannot provide help at the moment :)

    Last question,

If I can speak Korean on the phone (a little bit?), would that be enough to use the service?

    Thank you

@MertonThank you for your prompt response :)

Application for subscription is a very important matter.
The internet services in Korea are not as simple as the ones provided by AT&T in the U.S.
(Communication services in Korea are very complex and diverse)

And the prospective subscriber has to be aware of the service he/she wants to be provided!

If you have a Korean friend who can
fluently speak both Korean and English,
he/she can help you communicate with us and subscribe to our service.

Otherwise, we cannot provide you with the information on our complex
    communication service to you.

In that case, we cannot call that a "right" contract.
We pursue a right and rational contract which will be
beneficial to both our customers and our company.

I hope you will understand this.
Thank you for your interest in our service once again!
